Here, we will see some simple tricks to work on and use at your solo.
You will learn to build a patern and use it in all fretboard, and you will make runs ascending and descending.
- First we choose a note, we will prefer the root note.
I wll choose an A (5 fret first string) - Now we make a pattern. We can follow a scale or make it in luck, something that fit to chord that has been played in background. I will play the first "five" note of A minor for this example
- Now you can found the root note in all fretboard:
- Now fit the pattern in the All A. REMEMBER! Always start and end with the root key. Here is what we make:
Nice now will extend the pattern :
We had this pattern
Now we fit the new pattern, in all octave of A minor
That was cool! Start experiment!
So far so good but now let's make a prettier lick! We will use the A minor arpeggio that uses 3 notes from the A minor scale. The first note A, the flat third note C, and the fifth note E. These same 3 notes create the A minor chord or triad when played in unison and amazing licks!
What is the pattern in this one?
